Rooted in a balanced, symmetrical composition, the front facade is designed to elevate one's approach to the entrance. High ceilings and a seamless connection between the great room and outdoor living spaces create an open, light-filled environment. The formal dining room and hidden butler's pantry establish an elegant entertaining sequence. The home also includes a grand primary suite, four secondary suites, a dedicated office, a versatile bonus room, and an attached garage.

Design StudyConceptual design of a contemporary home with a central standing seam metal mass sliding through brick blocks of intersecting rooflines, this home possesses axial symmetry. Immediately upon entering, you are in the central spine and can see outside through the other side. The blocks of living spaces have expansive ceilings and windows, creating their own volumes, which contrast with the height and light of the space between them.

Renovation & Addition2026 | Fairview, TN
The goals of this renovation and addition were to transform the existing carport into a two car garage, add a primary suite, and tie in the front entrance to the addition to create a cohesive façade. Interior spaces of the orginal home got reconfigured to foster a more open, contemporary living environment while also incorporating the client's previously selected kitchen components

With minimal intervention to the existing residence, this project focuses on an addition that introduces a spacious garage, a private primary suite, a dedicated mudroom, laundry and storage spaces, and a covered outdoor living area. A brick wainscot establishes a strong visual connection to the original brick home, while fiber cement board-and-batten and lap siding offer a contrast of texture and scale.

A free flowing plan allows one to move easily through the space without deterring from the abundance of daylight and courtyard views.
Off-Grid Cabin
Design StudyConceptual design of an off grid cabin. A simple floor plan makes the most of the square footage and the height of the shed volume. Repeated in shape, is a pavilion of solar panels to shade the patio off the living space.
